The World Tour Collection is a collection of albums of traditional folk music from different countries around the world that is fused with modern jazz music. I researched the ancient instruments used by each country and incorporated them into each album. Some of these instruments originated in 1853 and earlier. In doing the research for this collection, I learned that every country I selected to reasearch had a flute of some kind, even pre Biblical days. Flutes were made of hollow branches, hand carved wood, bamboo and more. If wood was not available, the flutes were made of hand formed clay. Many of the original instruments around the world originated in Egypt. Each region or country had it's own resources and craftsmen so the instruments evolved into different versions of itself..
